Buckaroo and ace guitar & fiddle player, Don was an architect of The Bakersfield Sound with Buck Owens.

The signature track, “Buckaroo,” is the only instrumental ever to get to the #1 spot on the country chart.

Musical director on Hee Haw.

Known for his use of the Fender Telecaster.

His album Don Rich Sings George Jones went unreleased until 2013.
