THE COWSILLS
The Cowsills were formed in 1965 and ultimately included 6 siblings and their mother, Barbara. Originally signed to Joda Records, a label co-owned by Johnny Nash (“I Can See Clearly Now”). Recorded two iconic gold singles for MGM, “The Rain, The Park & Other Things” and “Hair” in the late ’60s. The band’s story was the original inspiration for the 1970s successful sitcom The Partridge Family.
