EMITT RHODES
As a teenager, and leader of The Merry Go Round, Rhodes wrote and recorded “Live” (covered by The Bangles) and “Time Will Show The Wiser” (covered by Fairport Convention). 1971’s “Lullaby” was featured in The Royal Tennenbaums. Curt Boettcher (The Beach Boys, The Association, Elton John, Gene Clark) worked as mixdown engineer on Rhodes’ Farewell To Paradise (1973). Rhodes was the subject of the award winning documentary The One Man Beatles.
