Italian-American disco/soul collective formed by Jaques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi. The band’s first single, the million-selling “A Lover’s Holiday,” featured vocals from Zachary Sanders (known for his work on Schoolhouse Rock, as well as backing vocals for Steely Dan, Bob James, Billy Joel, George Benson, and more.). Other Change vocalists include eight-time Grammy-winner Luther Vandross (whose first Change appearance pre-dated his double-platinum Never Too Much by a year), Jocelyn Brown (“Somebody Else’s Guy”), and more. “The Glow Of Love” became the bedrock for Janet Jackosn’s 2001 smash “All For You,” produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, who also helmed multiple tracks on the band’s 1984 release Change Of Heart.
