His debut solo release was released on Jack Lonshein’s Concentric Records. Lonshein painted album covers for artists including Carmen McRae, Maynard Ferguson, Albert Collins, and Coleman Hawkins, as well as Tommy James, And The Shondells, The Amboy Dukes, and Big Brother and The Holding Company.
