MISTER ROGERS
Originally titled Misterogers in 1963, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood began airing nationally in 1968. Rogers is the subject of Morgan Neville’s acclaimed documentary, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, and will be played by Tom Hanks in 2019’s A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood. Fred Rogers received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Peabody Award, and 40 honorary degrees. He is a member of the Television Hall Of Fame and was ranked #35 in TV Guide’s Fifty Greatest TV Stars Of All Time.
