ROBBIE ROBERTSON
Guitarist and primary songwriter for The Band. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee and recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Songwriters. His musical work with Martin Scorsese includes The Last Waltz, Raging Bull, Casino, Gangs Of New York, and the Oscar-nomiated score for Killers Of The Flower Moon. In his youth, Robertson worked in the traveling carnival circuit, which informed The Band’s “Life Is A Carnival” and the film Carny, which he produced, scored, and starred in (with Gary Busey and Jodie Foster).
