Brilliant singer/songwriter has worked with Van Dyke Parks, Elvis Costello, R.E.M., and T Bone Burnett. Also an actress, her acting debut was in Die Hard With A Vengeance. She’s appeared as guest artist on albums by Bruce Cockburn, The Wallflowers, and Rodney Crowell, among others. Sam was the composer of scores for the TV shows Gilmore Girls and Bunheads.
