Nash Kato and King Roeser met in college while attending Northwestern University and became standouts in the Chicago music scene. The band has been produced by Steve Albini, Butch Vig, Kramer, The Butcher Bros., and more. Their cover of Neil Diamond’s “Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon” was featured prominently in Quentin Taratino’s Pulp Fiction. Urge was picked to open both Nirvana’s Nevermind tour and Pearl Jam on their Vs. tour.
