THE MIAMIS
The great lost band of the NYC Punk era of 1974-1979. Shared the stage with Blondie, Television, Ramones, Talking Heads, New York Dolls, and even KISS. Honorary Miamis were members of Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Review, The Band’s Rick Danko’s touring group, and The Uptown Horns. Band members since have become award winning journalists, advertising and financial executives, and have toured with Dire Straits, Todd Rundgren, Ian Hunter, and more.
