THE LEFT BANKE
Formed in 1965, The Left Banke were at the forefront of the “Baroque Pop” movement. “Walk Away Renée” was ranked #220 on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Singles Of All Time” in 2004. Keyboardist/Songwriter Michael Brown went on to form influential bands including Montage, Stories, and The Beckies. The band’s second album, The Left Banke Too, featured backing vocals from future Aerosmith co-founder Steven Tyler.
