Linda was introduced to Bobby Darin’s A&R representative, Gary Katz, at age 14, after winning a talent contest.
After college, Katz produced Hoover’s debut, which featured songs from the new songwriting team of Donald Fagen & Walter Becker.
Linda is featured in Brian Sweet’s Steely Dan biography Reelin’ In The Years.
She continues to record, produced by her son Toft Willingham (Disney’s Elephant In The Room).
