It’s That Record Store Time of Year Again!

Old 97s - RSD News Item

There’s a reason it’s called RECORD Store Day. Yes, April 20th will be this year’s Record Store Day, and we here at Omnivore are ready to deliver. Three titles in fact.

First up, we have a 2-LP, 180-gram, colored vinyl, limited edition pressing of the Big Star soundtrack, Nothing Can Hurt Me, from the documentary opening this summer.

Next up, a double 7″ on colored vinyl form Old 97′s featuring two tracks with Waylon Jennings.

Third, well, that’d be a colored vinyl 12″ E.P. from North Carolina’s Three Hits, whose 1981 Hib-Tone single happened to be produced by Don Dixon, and whose band line-up included Record Store Day co-founder Michael Kurtz!

If the colored vinyl isn’t enough, all releases also include download cards so you can also play the tunes on your digital whatchamajigs!
