Opened for Van Halen at the Whisky a Go-Go in 1977, Cheap Trick, Climax Blues Band, Talking Heads and more. “Everything I Do” co-written by Doug Fieger and Missy Connell, was featured on The Knack’s Zoom. John Cowsill plays drums on some of the legendary 1983 recordings. Mercy backed Darlene Love in the ’80s, and after Phil Spector heard the band’s Portastudio tracks, sang for his session work with Jack Nitzsche, Hal Blaine, and Todd Rundgren.
